As per recent estimation
by Centre of Disease Control over 25 million people are suffering with
dangerous ailment like HIV and out of which, around 9 million people have
developed AIDS; mainly in undeveloped locations such as
South Africa; and thus, many people are looking for proper HIV Treatment Center in Nigeria.
India
is identified to be the hub for number HIV patients struggling for good quality
of life and essentially for survival. Recently, with the technological
advancements and improved scientific understanding it has been possible to
immediately offer anti-retroviral treatments to people who have been exposed to
HIV. However, it should be noted that the cost of treatment is extremely high
and is not suitable for people, who are in middle income or low-income group.
Thus, experts are searching for the alternative treatment options for curing
HIV and related infections. Accordingly, various studies across India and China
have confirmed application of ayurvedic medicines to be effective in augmenting
immunity and associated regularizations. In this regard, number of attempts
have been proposed to essentially configure the effect of ayurveda on HIV and
related manifestations.
A
study with more than 200 candidates was conducted, wherein almost about 200
candidates were selected for treatment with ayurveda. The study has been
conducted in Pune, India and is being published in one of the prestigious
journals of Immunology. All the included patients were male and were further
categorized into two groups, one is reference group and the other one is
identified to be as the test group. The patients were included by performing
relevant tests of routine investigations. The test patients were administered
with ayurvedic doses daily for 15 days and all the other parameters were
measured to analyze the effect of drug on them. The same drug application was
continued for another 15 days, with predetermined post procedural
investigations, as proposed. A control group of patients were given placebo and
all the patients were further supervised for one month. The interval of supervision
was gradually increased. A total duration of study was proposed to be three
months.
Accordingly,
the results of the study show significant improvement in immune regularization
of patients, who are on ayurvedic treatment schedule. Whereas that of the
patients with control group showed no significant signs of improvement.
Antigenic specificity of the blood obtained from all the patients of both test
as well as controlled group, when measured exhibited significant difference.
RNA viral load of test patients was found to be reduced to the great extent.
Thus,
ayurvedic treatment for HIV offers significantly effective cure, as compared to
its allogenic counterparts, pertaining to immune regularization, decrease in
viral loads and improved quality of life.
